Shakespeare LIVE To Host inaugural Shakespeare RenFest Halloween Weekend in Downtown Arlington

The Shakespeare RenFest is FREE to attend!

Arlington, Texas – June X, 2026 – Shakespeare LIVE is excited to announce the launch of the inaugural Shakespeare RenFest, a new immersive community arts event that will take place on Saturday, October 31, from 12:00-6:00 pm at the Levitt Pavilion in downtown Arlington. The debut celebration will bring together live entertainment, artists, craftspeople, food trucks, performers, and Renaissance-inspired festivities in a dynamic event designed for audiences of all ages. Shakespeare LIVE’s free production of Macbeth will follow at 7:00 pm.

“This event is about creating an immersive celebration of performance, imagination and community,” said LouAnn O’Donnell, Shakespeare LIVE founder. “We are excited to introduce a new annual tradition to downtown Arlington that combines live theatre, Renaissance culture and local artistic talent into one unforgettable experience.”

Celebrate Halloween with the first ever Shakespeare RenFest in downtown Arlington! Enjoy an afternoon of live entertainment, artisan vendors full of handmade treasures, food trucks, performances, and Renaissance-inspired festivities. This immersive event, designed for RenFest lovers of all ages, is FREE to attend. Then stay for Shakespeare LIVE’s exciting production of Macbeth (mature audiences only) at 7:00 pm.

Additional event details, participating artists, performance schedules, and venue information will be announced in the coming months. Shakespeare LIVE will officially open a Call for Artists and Performers beginning June 1, inviting regional artisans, musicians, entertainers, makers, and Renaissance-themed vendors to participate in the inaugural festival experience.
